The program is now ministering to listeners in over 150 cities throughout America. Healing and Prayer for OCF and Students at Virginia Tech

Boston, MA – Orthodox Christian Fellowship’s (OCF) team of responders reported on their return that the Virginia Tech community is healing through prayer, support and counseling after the April 16th tragedy that claimed 32 lives. Fr. Kevin Scherer, OCF Executive Director, led a team to the campus and spent a week ministering to Orthodox students and others who lived through the horrific shooting at Virginia Tech. Read more...

Twenty-seven canonical hierarchs of the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas (SCOBA) under the chairmanship of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, met to “solidify the bond of brotherhood that exists among the canonical Orthodox Churches in the Americas”. The Conference was the third such Conference, the two previous being held in 1994 (Ligonier, PA) and 2003 (Washington, DC). The workshops and the presentations on the SCOBA Agencies, Commissions and Endorsed groups offered the hierarchs an increased awareness of the work and outreach of SCOBA. Read more...
